$95 for a set of 4 honestly isn't that bad considering any plastic center cap you go for whether it's Volkswagon or Dodge seems to be $50 a piece.

Get the 2005 Mustang Accessories catalog from your salesman/dealer. My salesman gave me one when I ordered my GT.

If you don't opt for the spinners, they have Mustang Chrome Ring Caps (part # 5R3Z-1130-BA), which have the same center ring with the running horse and tri-bar but without the 3 bladed spinners. I think that will look nicer than the Ford blue oval center cap on the standard GT rims.

Don't know the price, but should be less than the spinners. Am planning to order them, along with the chrome exhaust tips, in time for the arrival of my car.

Whew! That's more like it.....for some reason I thought that was a for each cost...which would be ok if they were machined metal....but not plastic

Plan on ordering a set as well .Let us know who ever gets there's first if it's plastic or metal .Plastic I won't bother with :notnice:
Then I'll check and see if any of the vintage mustang ones that are cast will fit this bullet wheel type.

Na, you didn't have a brain fart, most times it doesn't matter, in fact when set up properly it shouldn't. Not everybody know the ways of this "Interthingy"

Really? They look just like the ones I saw on a V6.

Oh wait, I didn't mean they rotate when you drive. I just meant that they turn when you apply pressure; they are not fixed in place.

I heard that the spinners will be standard on the 06'. They will have that James Bond feature, ala GoldFinger.

They have to be able to turn, otherwise you would not be able to get at all 5 lug nuts to remove the wheel (look at picture on page 1).

The first '05 I got a chance to really look over and touch was a Premium V6 with the spinners at my local Dealer. Seeing as it interferred with the lug nuts, one of the first things I did was see how easy it turned, and I felt it turned too easy ... since it was not my car, I did NOT see how easy they popped off !! But based on the minimual rotational friction, I got to believe they pop off pretty easy. If that dealer is popping them off every night, the retainers (if plastic as I would assume) will probably be shot by the time someone buys these cars !!

Maybe someone in the aftermarket will come up with a better spinner (maybe even metal) that can be turned to get at the lugs but is retained from the back somehow. Actually the FORD ones should be this way, but this may be asking too much !!

My Illustration? <chuckle> Thanks so much to everyone for finding this for me, I was going crazy.

I'm a bit disappointed, since I was hoping for something more robust.

I agree with you, orange, I think the aftermarket needs a lockable 18" Bullitt with spinners.

Stay on at speed? I think the bigger problem would be people stealing em offa yer car. They are THAT easy to remove.... :notnice:
Does this also pertain to the V6 spinner caps? would the locking lugs prevent people from being able to take the spinner caps?

The locking lugs will not protect the center (spinner) caps.
