Today my dealer called me and told me my car was at the railyard (which I already knew thanks to Kzinti). Then he called me 10 minutes later and told me my car just got delivered to the dealer. I'm going to pick it up tomorrow but I can't get there until 4:00PM.

So my question is, How did you spend the last 24 hours before you picked up your car? The wait is killing me, but it's almost over.

 

I'd be camping on the lot next to my car so I could pick it up first thing in the morning, but that is just me, I may be going a little nuts waiting

 

I'll probably be camping out for a week waiting for mine and I only live a mile from the dealership. I almost feel bad that I know more about the order process/status of my car than the sales rep/dealership does. When I asked for a VIN they said its not available until the car is built. They also didn't know that it was scheduled to be built 8-03-05. It's amazing what the internet and helpful people can do.

I can't wait.

I kind of had a calm once I new it was arriving. I cleaned my house and got everything done while I was waiting because as you know after I picked up the car I was going to be gone for a very long time.

Less than 3 hours until I get her!!! Will post pics when I get time (at latest this weekend). Oh man the final hours feel like all of the time I've waited.

 

I cleaned my garage...making sure the new member of the family had a nice clean cozy bed.

 

Just got home with her, I love this car.
Only put 30 miles on her. I was good. Can't wait until tomorrow so I can drive her again, such a fun drive!!!!

 

Mine is now at the dealership, hopefully I will be picking her up tomorrow.... :w00t:

Man I'm in the same boat now, my car has been at the ramp in SF for the last 2 days, but I still haven't got the call from the dealer. How I wish I could just pick it up at the ramp...

This is killing me!! The waiting is just getting worse as you reach the end. I really hope to get it before the week-end.
