I got mine done yesterday at a dealer I have used four times before. The tint I used on my 05 GT is Formula One, made by LLumar. It is their most expensive tint that has ceramic in it. No dyes or metal. It has a lifetime waranty against any fading. It cost me $249.oo for all windows. It really looks good, too.

Strange. I just read a post on a window tinting web site were the tinters were very HAPPY about the 05 Mustang because it DIDN'T have any bumps or other crap they had to work over/around. They were calling it a quick and easy tint. The tinter you got the quote from might have been thinking about the earlier cars that did have stuff on the windows that had to be worked around. Or he could be trying to jack the profit margin...

A very minor amount. Put it this way, I was told that there is not enough room to even sand or remove the dot's. I paid roughly $160 @18% all around. The most important thing to me was that there was a even cut line on the tint edge, which they managed to do a great job at!
I'd get atleast 2 other quotes if I were you. Over $200 for just the back window? ouch!
