How many drive with gloves?
When it is snowing and under 20F outside and you just started up the car in the morning at zero dark hundred hours, gloves or mittens are quite useful until the heat kicks in.
Now, it'd be a different story if you lived in Georgia and wore gloves in the winter while driving.

I only drive without gloves in the summer, no matter which vehicle I use ( own 3 plus the wife's). I prefer it. It gives me better grip. I started doing it because my hands get cold easily (medical problems), but I really like them.
I use fingerless gloves except in winter (it gets below zero F here).

It's kind of silly to wear gloves in the spring/summer/fall. But it is almost mandatory here in the North during the winter.
Can you seriously call wearing gloves gay when they are not fingerless and are not meant for "the look"?
Its getting pretty darned cold here, my car gets parked outside, and its got a thin hard platic steering wheel. ****ing cold in the mornings.
sweaty palms on a hot day are just as problematic on aforementioned steering wheel. What i wouldnt give for a thicker, grippier and less plastic wheel for my car

Americans don't wear gloves to drive a Muscle car... I think thats more of a European thing...
I wear gloves in the winter time when it's really cold outside.. but this in SoCal where it never gets that cold.
