How do I ID my Cams in 2005 4.6 3v?

I purchased a 2005 GT in July. The car has had some major mods including a Saleen Supercharger pushing 7-8lbs of boost. I don’t know if the motor is stock or not. I removed the valve covers to send them out to get powder coated. Since they have been removed, I was hoping to find out if the cams are original or aftermarket. Is there a way to tell without actually removing them?

sorry, I don't know . . . but since you have the covers off, if you can post some pictures here, that might help expedite a response . . . make sure to provide a clear view of any identifying markings and also the phasers and springs

Sorry I can't say for sure. If you could find some numbers on them, that would help. They look like they've been in there a good long while and the lobes don't look too extreme so I would be willing to guess they're stock. But I don't know what blower cams are supposed to look like.

I take the numbers thing back. I just looked at my stock cams in the basement and I don't see any. That said, your cams and mine look very similar.
