Thumbs up

I know that a lot of you were hung up waiting on a railcar. How is that situation coming along ? Is it still causing a backup ? My car is scheduled to be built this week. The dealer says he should have it by the end of the month. I live in southern Ohio, which should be less than an 8 hour drive to Flat Rock, MI. Will my car be shipped on a rail car, or by an over the road hauler ? Can anybody provide any insight on this topic ?

On a side note, the VOPC line tells me that my car is locked into production for the week of March 21st. At what point will it update to a different message ? Isn't the next step, "Bucked?" Does that mean it is being built, or is finished being built ? Any info would be greatly appreciated for this expectant mother of a mustang !

In my case I never got the message 'BUCKED'...the messages I got was 'scheduled for build week of 12/13', 'locked in for build week of 12/13', then on the 12/15 I got 'as of 12/14 unit has been built and shipped by convoy carrier'.

I remained in that status until 12/26 when I got 'as of 12/26 unit arrived at the ramp' and got the call from the dealer on 12/28 that the car was in and picked it up later that day.

As for mode of transport and transport time it's hard to say how long it's going to take...someone here in CA got her car in seven days while mine took two weeks.
