OK, my ETA is this weekend, but the ERL is still saying as of Mar 12, shipped via rail carrier. Up until just a couple of days ago it said as of Mar 3, shipped via rail carrier. So my question is, do you think it'll make it here by my ETA?
Sorry this isn't the most interesting topic, but I appreciate you help.

 

hey there 05GT just got back from my dealership just to see whats going on and they got a convertible in yesterday i told my wife its nice to see that car come in before my GT from Oct. . My dealership also said something about the rail car issue we told them how we have an ETA he said that is good news. That i wouldnt had receieved an ETA if it wasnt assigned a rail or something.

 

Oh, that IS good news. I'm getting myself some 'nanners ready...

thanks 05GT i am going nuts over here...i just called the customer service line and the lady just told me that my ETA date was when it may go to RAIL...SO i may have yet more wait...OMG

 

went to dealer today....blah blah patience i told the guy we are pushing 5 freakin months next week...and its like no one cares. Once I get my car i am done with that Ford. Whenever my car does arrive i think i may just fall to my knees and cry...sorry just starting to get to me because NOBODY wants to tell or KNOWS anything likes its all one big secret

 

Mines been in the shipping system for over two weeks now. I was told it's ETA was this past Saturday. It's almost a week later and still nothing, but according to the ERL it's on a train again :bang: :bang: :bang: .

 

Its enough to drive you mad.... i understand CME i have been shipped to convoy now since the 4th they cant tell me if its on a rail or in the yard or nothing... what a joke

 

What's CME?

Has anyone recently taken a delivery that's arrived on time?

Thanks Darth-Bob, today and tomorrow are going to be Loooong days. I'm getting some good exercise because every time the phone rings I run to it.

 

According to the automated system I was shipped via convoy on the 12th, its still saying this as of today.
My dealer told me ETA of the week of the 21st, so thats this week. hoping its more like the 21st itself

 

Hi 05GT, Mustangshadow is my Hubby. Everytime the phone rings we jog to the phone also. The ERL still says "as of March 4th your unit has been shipped by convoy carrier". Gosh, I hope you get your car tomorrow and so do we. Its hard to sleep at night isn't it? We both keep dreaming about the car. My Hub keeps driving by the dealership after hours to see if it came in while the dealership was closed, he will again today when he gets out of work.

 

Mine 05LLGT was built 28 Feb 05 and supposed to arrive in central Alabama on 11 Mar 05. Still not here. Awaiting railcar.
Looks like the railcar issue may be affecting only certain regions.
I see from other posts that buyers in the south seem to be most impacted by railcar shortage.
Monday I'll car my dealer and ask him to follow-up on status.

ok 05GT tomorrow has to be the day...i mean it has to right...lets think real positive. I drove by my dealership thismorning and tonight just to see. And notta I dont know what i will do once my ETA has come and gone. Lets at least get the nanners ready dont want to be caught without them being ready. This will be a perfect week if she comes in i am actually off this weekend and its SUPPOSED to not rain here in Florida. Ford pppppleeeeeeeeeeaaaaseee bring me my stang
