It's a car guy thing. The more **** you are about your car, the more you want to know about it. I'm VERY **** about my car. I think most people on this site want to know their car's build date. It's like knowing the name of the color of your car. Or even worse, knowing the paint code. (color name: Performance White, color code: HP... I still have memorized the VIN, LOL)

I'm going to take my car in tomorrow for the air bag recall and I'm going to have them run an OASIS report. I'm a car guy/geek when it comes to this car and any of the info I can get about it. I like seeing how specific some of the signatures are on this forum. Are there specific pages I need to request? Should I have them print the entire thing?
What do I need to ask them for specifically?
Thanks for the help.

The HvBom report in itself is 11 pages long and the Oasis is only 2 pages. I am like you I want all the Documentation that I can find. Service Department was more than willing to help give me everything they could find on my Stang.

If your just interested in the car's build date, it's located on the driver's side door tag. Otherwise, request an Oasis report from your dealer's service manager.
