Oh man, I just read the news article. What a terrible accident. I hope he recovers as well as the other driver. Very sad news to hear about his friend. Anyone know exactly how he lost control? I can't stand news articles that leave out the details. It makes you wonder hundreds of different scenarios.

Just heard... very sad indeed.

I've never met Kyle in person, but I've spoken to him many times in the Ponies on the Run thread. I hope he has a full and speedy recovery.

We're still trying to get more details, John

Perry is trying to get in touch with the hospital

[Kyle is a great guy who I have enjoyed many stang shows with and hung out with - I don't know what else to say except to keep praying for him to pull through]

ok here is what I have and its not alot since they wont tell me anything because I am not family.
I did tell them that he does have a large Mustang family and we are really worried.
His nurses name is Dana and he is in ICU room 5126
He is in critical condition and she told me that they do have all his vitals stable.
She also said that all we can do now is wait and see.

*get better Kyle our prayers are with ya bro*

Very sad. Praying for him and the other driver to pull through and for the families of all, especially for the family of the young man who passed. This is very, very sad. Get well Kyle.

Thoughts and prayers go out for all involved in the accident. Talked to him over on Ponies On The Run quite a bit and while I didn't know him personally I think I could call him a friend.

Get well Kyle ! Here's to a full and speedy recovery.

Yes. A great Friend, and always caring about others at the shows. The news media, as usual say Mustang GT crossed lanes caused the acident. Here's the scoop form Hilsborugh Sheriff spokeperson. A steering Mechanism under the vehicle failed (the Sway Bar). As they were apparently trying to get back under control another vehicle came arround an Ess curve at the same time. Kyle & Jeremy were hit broadside in the passenger door area at a normal rate of speed for that area. There were many other driver's in the area at the exact time, and all came to their Immediate aide. One of the three involved died instantly at the scene, and the two driver's were air lifted to area hospitals, both critical at the time. According to Hilsborough Sheriff person, "this was just a tragic accident, and nothing more".
