HOT - New Stillen Short Throw Shifter
Hey there,
The Stillen shifter for the Mustang GT is FINALLY available for sale - in stock and ready for shipment - priced at $279.
Our short throw shifter reduces shift throws by nearly 60%. The solid construction and durable polyurethane bushings offer long lasting performance and guarantee that this vital part of your drivetrain will never let you down.
Made out of 6061-T6 CNC machined billet aluminum
Reduces throw by nearly 60%
Durable polyurethane bushings
Direct bolt-in, no modification required
To my knowledge, this is the shortest throw shifter on the market. You can literally lay your arm on the arm rest and throw all shifts with your wrist. The shifter has been built to some very exacting tolerances. There is some shifter feedback (you can feel the shifter working). This shifter is in our 2 exhibition Mustangs – and EVERY person that I have had sit in our exhibition cars when I take them to shows said they have to have one of these shifters.
2 Pictures - one disassembled (so you can see what work goes into creating the shifter) and one assembled (just as it would be when you purchased it).

As Always, please don’t hesitate to call (866-278-8287 x134) or E-Mail (PageN@Stillen.com) if there is anything I can do to help.
Thanks Much

I think it is probably worth more than $100, but there is no way I would pay more for this shifter than for the MGW. I wouldn't even pay the same. Maybe $200, but that would be pushing it.
Before I would make a definitive statement, I would want to spend a month or two with each of them...
But from looking at the pics above and comparing it to my MGW, I can't see how it can compare favorably to the MGW.
Still, it is always good to have competition in the market and I do wish them the best of luck on their design.

One or both of the cars will be at quite a few car shows here in So Cal through the end of the year (the first few listed below). If you are there and would like to get a feel for the shifter - just ask me - not a problem at all.
