This is great for buyers, that's for sure. It even temps one to go get another. Problem is, rebates like this devalue all the cars we currently own. It'll kill your trade-in or sale price for future transactions.

 

i think it'll only hurt value of the current cars out there only for the period of time the rebate is offered.

if the rebates go away...then its all fair again....
