horn goes off

Oh my god was out driving last night when i used the pannel dim switch the horn beeped? ok i drove home and put the car a way went to shut off the headlights and the horn stays on had to disconnet the battery. whent out this morning and horn still goes off

how cold is it out? the horn on some model cars (not sure if the this is) is two metal plates and when they touch they complete a circuit and the horn honks. if this is the case in the cold weather (really cold), they can sometimes contract enough in the cold and freeze together, leaving the horn sounding. to solve this you have to unwire them.

never seen this, but have heard of it happening on other cars. this is just a suggestion.
