thanks guys. Seems just adjusting the rubber bumpers seem to have solved the issue. I really don't do much highway driving at all so I haven't been able to test. But I did push it a little today on my own to see lol. Seems all good.

Spray the latch with WD-40 or some kind of lube. I had a 98 Tiburon and the latch came undone at about 50mph. I messed my pants and pulled over. The hood curled up over the windshield and roof. Your lucky it didn't come unlatched!
