HID Kit for 08 GT
Hey guys, I'm finally going to buy an HID kit for my headlights and fog lights, has anybody used this company:

Also, any advice between the 50 and 35 watt kits? Any preferences?

I use the HID's from Stangmod they have a lifetime warrenty, if they go bad you send them back and in a few days you get a new one.. No hassle you are going to pay a little more but its worth haveing the warrenty. they both draw less power then stock so either will be fine.

Had them a year, love 'em. See my TMS thread from way back...

(headlights only, not the fogs...for the fogs I simply installed Höen bulbs, $30, work great IMO)

Those 6k might be too blue. 4.3k is OEM, 5k is pretty white. I thought 6k was a little to 'ricey' for me. Remember, these are not exactly 'legal' (technically). Ya never know if you'll get a police officer who wants to pick on you and your Mustang, and the blue might get you the attention you don't want. Just my $.02, good luck!

I originaly started off with the 6K and it was way too blue for my taste so I returned them and had them send me the 4300K mostly white light and just a hint of blue, 4300K is what all cars use OEM. Best decision I made was to switch to the OEM look 4300K

Is that color temp just as good vision wise as 6k? Jw I was thinking of getting a newer set. & I'd consider the 4300k. My headlights are smoked so they don't look as blue as if the weren't smoked. Of course pics make em look more blue
