IMO I think you have better view with the 4300K due to the light being white and not blue. I remember a few years ago reading about Xenon light and what the purpose was, the article said that the Xenon was originaly created in in Germany and the use was to deflect the blinding from halogen lights from oncoming traffic the white/blue would deflect the blinding lights..

If I were to just get 4300k bulbs would I have to get a certain wattage or do they even make different ones?

My headlights are smoked too, thats why I thought the 6000k would still work and not look so blue. I was also thinking of getting the 55watt kit which will help bleach out the blue tint since it has more light output.

I lied. The ballast say 55w. Does that mean I have to get 55w HID bulbs ?

No, the bulbs are independent from the wattage that the ballast puts out. Everything I've found shows that the bulbs determine color temp and the ballast determines output.

So your out of headlights for a a week? That sounds insanely dumb, sorry and the price is probably stupid too, just get xentechid off eBay, 30 dollars shipped and a 2 year warranty, I been using them for a year no problem, besides on ballast went bad because of where I mounted it, I emailed them got a new one in 2 days, no questions asked and didn't have to mail anything back

What lights did you put in your corner lights that match so well? I'm guessing they are LEDs

if you have any kind of brain you reinstall the stock bulbs until the new one arrive if your not to lazy to do that. You get what you pay for, I have had mine for 5 years and have had to replace once, when your $30 ones last that long talk to me. plus I dont cheap out on my car, you are more then welcome to do that with yours.

Gotcha, I had white leds in mine but forgot to wire in the load resister so they burnt out. I'm planning on ordering some new ones with resistors, looking for a good company to purchase those from. I used superbrightleds.com, they seemed pretty legit.

I'm a little late to the discussion but wanted to throw my 02 cents out, I just installed 6k 35w HIDs in my car an on camera they definitely look blue but in person they look very white, with only a tiny tiny hint of blue.

Edit, added photo.

Yup they're the smoked halos from American muscle. Had to send them back the first time because the aiming adjustment was broken, but once I got that sorted out I really like them.

Here's another pic with the 6k HIDs.

Yeah I've had mine for a year, they're awesome! Thanks for the pics, that's exactly what I have been looking for. I'm gonna order the 6000k lights I've been looking at.
