If you have your window sticker, the build date is in the botton right hand side. (Atleast on Canadian stickers.)

It is kinda cryptic. IE, mine has a bunch of letters and numbers and codes and such, and inside that string, is 03 29 05

That's not the build date. In my case, it was my the same as my build week. Somone else said their's was the same as their blend date.

Mine says 02 21 05, but my build date was 2/28/05.

Go to blueovalforums, in the Ford Employee section, under vehicle status and post your VIN for Kzinti. He will give you all the information you are looking for on you vehicle.

Do you ever cruise telegraph in the summer? Can't wait to get my car so I can start heading up there again.

 

I do sometimes. I will a lot more with this beauty. Drove a Crossfire before, not as fun cruisin with only one friend. At least now I can stuff two more in the back. Nice color choice by the way. Hope you get your car soon.

anyway he can get you pretty much all the factory info on your car- he's on the factorys system...Most of the info is really kinda useless, but during the wait for the build, seeing the dates pop up was a lot of comfort- at least you could see progress, where ford nor the dealers could say anything...and if you really want to know ALL the little details for your car's baby book, he's the guy. Getting a .pdf of the window sticker a couple weeks before the car is even built was like Christmas!

Ed Miller- you may have answer to one question Kzinti couldnt answer- the returned/bent car got a backwards 'gate release' date- same day sold to DSO 89 according to report...found 89=transportation, but not sure what that means, or WHERE it went to- just wondered if I'd ever see the new cars older 'twin' around this area or not...the 'gate release' date being changed from what It was (week before I saw the car) to the date transport bought it made me wonder if it actually went back to AAI for repairs??? Just curious...

Also, just for 'whatever' after some searching I found a listing of District Sales Office(DSO) codes- but I think they are/will change again soon- heard a couple months ago Ford was consolidating their districts from 34 down to 11 (read over at detnews.com), and I know that mine(44/pittsburgh) merged or moved to Detroit, so dont know what it might be now.
