I have an 08 Convertivle GT. I wonder if everyones heated seats go off after a few minutes and you keep having to turn them on? I don't get this at all! I have owned quite a few cars with this feature but this is the only one that has ever just turned off after a few minutes! Anything I can do? Is this normal?

I think they auto shutoff after 10min. Mine shutoff so I assume its just normal. Take care.

 

Yeah there was a post about this in interior mods. Its normal an nothing you can do about it as far as it seems.

Ah that color is gorgeous but all the chrome stuff is too much. Looks like the first gen Mystichrome!

Thanks y'all. The paint is the reason I drive this thing off the lot!! I had a BMW and seen this car and had to have it! It's a chameleon, purple, green, & blue with metallic flakes. It looks amazing when it's really cleaned up.

I like the chrome myself.

That’s one awesome looking ride! There is a 10 minute “timeout” on the heated seats. If this is happening much quicker, you should visit your Ford dealer.

Did this change in 11+s? It doesnt automatically shut off on my '13. Just curious.
