k, I understand why you have the steering wheel cover on it ....I still think y'er nuts for selling DKII I would have just put the s/c and suspension on it instead, but that's just me. I don't even think I could sell mine and start over again.

Dave,
I said it before and i'll say it again,
DKII was one of the nicest '05's on this site, I'm sure you're sad to see it go, as many of us are. At the same time, FFII will be a wonderful car for you, i'm sure you'll do a great job on it. Already, you've done some great things to it.

Dave a question or two for you:
1) What kind of horsepower does Saleen say you will get with their S281 SC, as bolted on with no changes of course??I know VegaJay says you can get more HP with proper tuning, I'm just wondering what Saleen gives you as is for your money? Compared to say Pro Charger or other after market super chragers. I'm guessing you went with the Saleen SC to keep the factory warrenty, cant say as I blame you there.
2) I would asume with said SC we have to run premium fuel correct?
3) I would be interested in what sort of gas milage you get , around town, mixed, highway ?
While this all may seam trivial, while driving a car I can only dream of right now cause I cant afford any of that yet, I plan on adding a SC and more later on when I can afford to. So right now Im just wondering what it will cost to drive a car like that. Right now I probably couldnt afford the extra gas anyway.

Dave, i started reading your first post, and was " OMG " what did he do ?!?! not too many comments out of me here, but this one is notable.
Having read on to find that you have acquired a new Beauty, i will say " a different kind of nice" - not more or not less than Dark Knight II.
Redfire is a beautiful color and all the reasons for the changes that were not in Dark Knight II, the manual Trans and Factory installed SC, etc. makes it a wise decision if that is what you wanted most.
Congrats on the car She's beautiful
