Was talking colors with the wife the other night, and drove by the dealer for another look...it was gone! (Sniff) Probably a good thing though, I've been eyeing my piggy bank with dubious intent as of late.
I kept checking out the Shelby GT down here at our Ford Store, taking pictures, general drooling for a while... Everytime I came in, they would try selling me the car! LOL! So I ended up with a GT Vert...

The other day, I went in and they have a Blue Shelby GT500 on the floor and started drooling again... LOL!

What do you do for Ford? If I might ask?
I am the graphic designer for both the Yuba City / Marysville stores (Ford / Kia) as well as our stores down in Lodi.

The problem is that there are still apparently enough people willing to buy them at this price and hence until demand for them dries up and they are stuck on the lot for 6 months they will stay at those prices.

If they actually sold them at the MSRP then they would be beating people back with sticks and riot guns.

The dealers are just being greedy and relying on people who have a LOT of disposable income and want to have a "status symbol" car.
