Has anyone bought and received their Ford Engine Cover. How long of a wait and who did you get it from.

 

I ordered from Midwest Auto and had it within 4 days of placing the order!, quality is great, and I painted it Tungsten to match the car.

That's not the Ford one!

 

Ford has a Ton on Backorder. But the Kicker is the Hardware is on a worse back order. My Orders are way up on the List and so is my Hardware. I hope to fill all my orders to date by the end of this month! I have shipped a couple of my initial orders already!

from Fordparts.com he seemed to think they'd ship around July 28th. Quite a rush for them it seems.

 

Is this the #7R3Z-6A949-AA ?? If it is, I ordered mine a few weeks ago and got it. It was a little over 72$.

 

I believe stangkc05 has them, he has been getting pallet loads of these and the hardware that is supposedly hard to get as well. Great guy, give him a shot.

did yoiu have to order the bolts seperatly? Or are those the ones that came with the cover? Will I need extra bolts since mines an 05??

 

Superman, bolts come seperately, if you order from KC, he will throw exactly what you need in there. Just like posted above, very easy install, took about 5 minutes. Great guy, and probably one of the few with all the hardware that is on backorder etc.

 

Got my cover and hardware today, ordered it a month ago from Steve.

 

Got e-mail on mine Ordered 6/30, Shipped 7/31. Says 5 day delivery Fedex Northwest to Northeast.

 

I just bought a new 2007 mustang GT on aug. 2 and the engine cover came stock with mine. Thats probably why they are on back order, ford is putting them all on the 2007's.
