My brother got a call from his supervisor (the owner) today (he works for a dealership), saying that Ford kicked back his 07 GT order. He was told that it is being held due to Material Supply problems with the GT Appearance package option. He was told that if he deleted that option, the car would be placed back into production. Also, have been trying to order the Engine Cover, but that order keeps getting kicked out as well. Could be realted, as the engine cover is part of that option package. Anyone else have this occur?

 

When did you order your car? I was told the same thing last week ( I ordered GT Appearance too), but the dealer told me today that I am now scheduled and should have the car in 4 weeks.

 

The car was ordered 3 weeks ago, just got the call yesterday.

 

There was a build restriction the week of the 12th. They were available again the week of 6/19...
