Mine says priority 02 as well. I'm told it's the best by my salesperson. I was happy with Priority 10 but I won't look a gift horse in the mouth

EDIT: They don't have allocation currently so I think it's moot anyway? I do know that I'm 2nd in line at the dealership with an order so as long as they get 2 cars allotted next go around I'd be pulled anyway?

 

This is what I am hoping for, but I thought the best was 10

David, I'd ask to see it in person, have him fax it to you. I'm raising the BS Flag, I don't think you're at priority 2 without having a previous problem. If you are, how'd you get in that good of shape?

 

...Also, mine's got prices on it. Sticker and invoice. I think that they're all the same, but I've only seen my own.

 

Is that a priority or an order type. Only the factory can assign a priority less than 10 and even then it's rare.

Are you sure you are looking at a DORA and not the order confirmation, does anyone know if the prices should be on there?

 

I will call him back tomorow, and see what else I can find out, Karpro, should there be any prices on there? Also, for what reason would they change the priority to a 2? What happened to 10 being the lowest?

 

How do you find out if they have allocation or when, should be privy to this type of info, I really do not want to annoy the dealership if I can help it.

I said previous problem, not serious problem... such as, your Mustang was a lemon, or while it was being delivered to you, the truck driver accedentially drove it into a lake, etc... Only Ford can assign a priority under 10, and there's usually some previous problem when they do.

ooooops, sorry, Ok, I undersatand

 

Dave, you need to get a copy or go look at whatever your salesman is looking at because the DORA has prices on it. It lists invoice and msrp for the car and the options. It should also say 2005 Dealer Order Receipt Acknowledgement on top. Something just doesn't sound right here.

 

This whole thing is really beginning to give me a headache...I guess I really need to talk to my salesman again, I will try tomorrow :bang:

 

well...this was an intereting post to read.

all i can say is im glad i have this site to keep me busy till my stang actually arrives. I ordered in November and I called once to make sure the order was put through. guess I want to be surprised when I get that call. like winning the lottery!

I've been trying for 20 minutes to post a pic of my dora but when I hit "add attachment" it keeps going to the error message "page not found". :bang:

I justed wanted to show that priority 02 does exist and give hope to 2toys that maybe his dealer isn't giving him b/s after all.
