TWO things have occured to me on my manic quests today:
A) Even if I had my Eleanor fund fully loaded- MY car won't hit the street till JANUARY any how!(v6 manual with IUP).
B) The 04 I was going to buy to get rid of the olds for now, then give to my husband when the 05 got here- PROGRAM CAR! true, 04 vert for 15k- BUT! It has 13,000 miles on it. Thats asanine. Ew, and I almost drove up there too. I chose a nice fall's nap instead.
C) I hate NON convertible auto 04s.... But I woulda driven a vert for a few months BUT they are giving those away for almost free.
D) In same boat, no amount of carpin is gonna fix that.

 

My GT did not arrive in St. Louis today.

 

Hopefully Im gonna roll a couple around the block this week Believe it or not, I am actually more curious as to how the V6 auto drives then the GT. In the end it will be more important to Ford how that car fairs against competitors.

Sounds like we have a least a few hopefuls out there. I still haven't heard any definate due date on mine. Guess I'll bug the crap out of my salesman again tomorrow. He loves me

 

A friend of mine was told by Bill Currie Ford that they'll be slapping on a $5000 market adjustment "for the first couple of months". Friggin morons. I hope every '05 they do that to sits on their lot collecting dust. Wouldn't surprise me if Brandon Ford tries the same crap. :nono: I'll be getting mine from Bartow Ford

 

MTAS - you have Walker Ford in St Pete nearby too. That is where mine is getting shipped to..........just a thought. Does Brandon Ford still have all those 2004's on the lot that I saw there last month?

 

The sales manager I talked to said it will be in either today (10/13) or tomorrow (10/14). I'll post some pics as soon as it comes in.

I stopped in and talked to my dealer last night. No car yet. He says it'll be here any day. we did a dealer check for any mustang in the area.

He showed me where there was one in Napa, Sonoma and Petaluma. He takes deliveries at 10pm and they'll be sitting in the middle of his lot this morning if anything came in last night.

Luckily I have to drive by the dealership on my way to work. Already have a vacation request in for "the day my car comes in."

I told my wife last night I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve, and I wanted to sneak down and peek under the Christmas tree. Unfortunately, its a 30 minuted drive to the tree.

Oh yes it is sweet, my uncle did get one and it is windviel blue. It is v6 and really nice. He even let me drive it. Inside, the gauges turn 125 different colors. You all might think he is lieing but he really did get one monday. Its built with pride and has tones of something I would like to call ford power. It turns many heads and is sweet as the sweetest candy you have ever tasted. Well I hope you all get yours soon because my uncles is nice. The date purchased was monday night, 10/11/04 about 3 pm.

 

Once again - take pics or it never happened. It is like NASA saying they landed on the moon and not having photos......"yeah, right".

They are trickling in.

My dealership – Towne Ford (outside Buffalo) – got delivery of a silver V6 auto –nice shifter! -w/IUP & leather seats & shaker 500. The status on my GT VIN ending in 811, still has a shipped to convoy status. Which means probably a few weeks.
Ha. It’ll be snowing here soon.

Was told that they are having problems with the emissions on the mustangs, so I guess that can be added to the pile of rumors here.

Nice car ‘tho... for a V6. A lot more stocky than I thought I would look like. MyColor is kinda lame, but it has one of the tightest turning radiuses I have seen in a car. And the IUP isn’t all that plastic-fantastic, it looks pretty good given the cost of the car.
***** too for a V6.

Another dealership up here – West Herr, took delivery of a GT. Or so I’m told.
