No, the gasket was still installed... I will try that next time. Thanks for the advice.
I'll also test a few more mounting positions.

The only thing that's holding me back from getting a GoPro is that it doesn't have a view finder. You just have to point and pray you're getting a good shot.

I love the go pro's wide angle lens but couldn't justify the cost. Instead I bought a $100 digicam with HD capable video. Threw in an 8gb SD card and a suction mount totaling $30. The suction mount is the same as the one the Go Pro comes with but can mount to any camera. Works well and I saved $100 over the Go Pro.

I did a little research and the old gopro has a little viewfinder that has been described as pretty much useless. The gopro hd does not have a viewfinder but this sping they are coming out with a LCD screen that attaches to the back of the camera.

I also have the GoPro HD Motorsports. I took pictures underwater in the Caribbean last week. Waiting for an AutoX to show what it is really all about. I have a Sandisk Extreme 16GB SD card. I also bought the head strap.
