GoPro HD Motorsports HERO test
|
Looks good...I have the non-HD Hero Cam,I think I will upgrade.
PS did you have the gasket removed, if not then try it that way...you might get more sound. |
No, the gasket was still installed... I will try that next time. Thanks for the advice. :nice:
I'll also test a few more mounting positions. It's definitely worth the upgrade ;) |
The only thing that's holding me back from getting a GoPro is that it doesn't have a view finder. You just have to point and pray you're getting a good shot.

I love the go pro's wide angle lens but couldn't justify the cost. Instead I bought a $100 digicam with HD capable video. Threw in an 8gb SD card and a suction mount totaling $30. The suction mount is the same as the one the Go Pro comes with but can mount to any camera. Works well and I saved $100 over the Go Pro.

The HD will have a plug-in accessory screen a little later.
Commbubba19, did you disable the sound or is it N/A on the camera? |
I hear the sounds on Commbubbas videos.

I did a little research and the old gopro has a little viewfinder that has been described as pretty much useless. The gopro hd does not have a viewfinder but this sping they are coming out with a LCD screen that attaches to the back of the camera.

I also have the GoPro HD Motorsports. I took pictures underwater in the Caribbean last week. Waiting for an AutoX to show what it is really all about. I have a Sandisk Extreme 16GB SD card. I also bought the head strap.
