when you close the doors the windows roll up into the little groove and when you open the door the windows roll down just a little

There is also a function, I think as a part of the Active alarm option in early 05, that will allow you to roll the windows (both of them) down by pressing and holding "unlock" on key FOB. I seems to remember this was deactivated by the factory sometime in 05.

I can also roll them up OR down using the key in the door lock. Just turn the key and hold it until the windows move down, if unlocking, or up, if locking the doors.

Global windows on 06/07/....08?

So does this mean that there will be no possibility of activating this feature on an 06/07/08 model? Has anything changed since the '05 model regarding the global windows?

I believe they completely took it out of the computer either at or before job2 for the '05 models. When I got mine it wasn't there at all, and others were reporting they had tried to get it activated and the dealers couldn't make it work.

That's not good. The trunk should only open when you press the trunk button, not the unlock button.

It shouldn't do it then either. It should only open when you press the trunk button.
