Thumbs up

I was making a reservation with Avis rental today for Aug. and the lady said that it looked like I would not be able to get the car by then, because all of there cars are in for a recall?

Coupes for gas pedal sticking. She said they had just gotten them back from having the gas tanks replaced. She said it was for the gas gauge showing half full when actually they were on empty. I told her that I knew about the TSB's for filling the tank, she said no it was for the half full issue.

Verts something to do with the tops.

I think she was just filling me with a whole mess of BS. :nono:

So I told her ok I'll just look someplace else and hung up.

I actually saw a recall in the paper for sticking accelerator for 04 and previous. It was from getting stuck in the carpet. I know this has happened to me with floor mats!

Yeah I had heard of the 04's, but not the 05's.

No offence to anyone on this site but I think this girl was a blonde with a brunette dye job that went wrong.

The cars were half full but she might be the one on empty.

My gas pedal has a problem sticking to the floorboards. Seems a lot of other mustang owners have this problem too
