The GTO even WITH skipshift has a GasGuz tax.
Mind you so does the Cobra with a shift light.

Speaking of which...have we confirmed that the GT will have a shift light? its on the gauge cluster that we've seen....hope to god we can disable it in the InfoCenter
my cavalier has it. you learn to ignore it and smirk when you're dropping it into third to pass 3 cars in the suicide lane.

The 2004 Cobra does not have a gas guzzler tax . They managed to bump the EPA rating up one or two MPG, which was enough...
The "cute" part about that is, there was a GGT on the 03, but the 04 still costs a couple hundred bucks more at the bottom of the label.

No GGT for the V6/GT Stangs.

Kev, What about the 4.6 V8 what are the chances it will get the GGT. Maybe thats why Ford Engineers opted with lighter aluminum parts and thinner tires, in an effort to increase that MPG number.

And if its not up, surely it didn't go down.

Like I said, the 03/04 Mach 1 is getting worse milage then a current GT and it doesn't have the gas guzzler tax ... There is no reason to even worry about it!
