You may have a point, but I think this thread has gone to HE double hockey sticks!

Naaaaa, this is the stuff that gets me interested! Maybe you and I are the only ones who find this interesting.

I am sure you will take a little more interests in this down the road when your battery is too weak to turn the engine over (say lights left on) and you can't jump start your car with out having to use jumper cables. That is one of the reasons I don't like automatics (there are lots more).
Okay, I misunderstood the purpose of why you were doing it, you said something about the accelerator getting stuck. Stopping a car with a stuck accelerator is only an issue with automatics. Didn't think about push starting.

All I was saying there was if the trottle sticks for what ever reason, the first instinct I have is to immediatly turn the key off, unjam the gas peddle (if possible) and turn the key back on and continue down the road. That doesn't work on this vehicle compared to many other newer ones I have driven.

I couldn't help but laughing at Wombert's posts, every single one of them in that thread were hilarious.

You could push in the clutch and then unjam the pedal.

Did you jump start it or push start it? I think this discussion was talking about being able to push start it.

I think we understand now why demo cars are so deeply discounted.

I was joking, you wouldn't happen to be the same dealer that raced a GT against another dealerships car would you?
