Priced two different mustangs with options and in both cases Edmunds showed invoice price at about $300 less than FordDirect's invoice price.
Im going to try to negotiate a "I'll give you $1000 over invoice type thing", so this becomes somewhat important.

Is Edmunds wrong, or is FordDirect misleading ?

Edmunds and others typically don't include the FDAF or gas charges. The combination of those two is about $260 -265.

Karpro is right on it. The pricing I got from the first dealer I started to look at had the FDAF assesment / gas / delivery charge tacked on to the price for their invoice. The pricing at edmunds is EXACT for the parts they list. You just hafta add in the other stuff to get the correct invoice number to work with.
