When your order is pulled by the factory, they will issue a build date....... If your dealer has not given you a build date within the next couple weeks, then check on the status then. I ordered my GT from my dealer on Nov. 1st, and have not been issued a build date yet. He told me that the Ford Rep. was going to be in his office today, and he was gonna see then how things are going......(production news). I'm going to be there tomorrow to check out the new V-6's they got in, so I will see what I can find out then

Ordered mine also on 11/10. Then was told it would be 6-8 weeks which I didn't really believe - then that night the IUP issue came up. I have known the sales guy for awhile and he is a pretty straight person. Told me yesterday he doesn't know exactly what is going on. In this case, I believe him. Will probably not hear anything, like previously mentioned, until dealer gets a build date. With the week shutdown, backlog, IUP - my uninformed guess is that I will not see the car until late January
