Fog Light Issues
Has anyone else noticed a bluish white haze on thier fog light reflectors. Took mine out today to tried and clean it but thier sealed. It seems to be worse at the top above the bulb obviously caused by heat. I removed the bulb and tried a few different things to wipe it off. One thing I do know is not to spray any type of cleaner inside the housing because the reflector is not metal its just cheap plastic with a reflective paint (price point) some of mine came off to reveal the black plastic beneath it. Im looking for some type of aftermarket housing to replace them with, any suggestions?
Kevin,
Can you tell us if Ford has updated the part number on the GT foglamp assembly? It seems that a few members have noticed that the reflectors seem to be oxidized or worn out. The same goes for the headlight assembly
Thanks in advance

No, Ford Has Not Updated the Headlights to my Knowledge. Ford will monitor Warranty Replacements and Ck for Frequency of Repairs. If enough Repairs are Logged a TSB May be Issued. In the Meantime Take it to your Dealer and Voice your Concerns.

YES! MINE HAS DONE THE SAME THING AND I HAVE ONLY 4,500 MILES. THE INSIDE OF THE FOG LIGHTS ARE FOGGING AND HOPEFULLY, MY DEALER WILL REPLACE THEM IN THE SPRING WHEN I GET IT OUT OF WINTER STORAGE. BY THE WAY: IF YOU EVER GET "OUTSIDE" FOGGING OR HAZE ON ANY PLASTIC LENSES, USE McGUIRES P L A S T I C X CLEANER FOR PLASTIC LENSES - IT IS FANTASTIC!!!
