Smile First time post in a long time.

Hi guys, signed up a while back, but kind of forgot about the forums. Finally got the mod bug and decided to post something. I have a 2006 GT and decided it was time for a set of long tubes. I had put a set of GTA's on it about a year after we bought it, but that mod wore off long ago. I knew the long tubes were more of a job than I could handle so I started looking for a shop to put them on and found a place outside for Fort Worth called Speedtek that will do it. Of course I rationalize I need the cold air kit, tuner, and I might as well have them dyno tune it while they have it. Well after I told my wife what I was doing and she was already mad, (not really, but she put on a show), I called them today and asked them to put in the 4.10s while they have it. So the car goes in the shop next week and I feel like its almost Christmas. I am hoping for around 300 at the wheels, good sound, and for it to pull like it mule. I'll let you know how it goes.

So to get her ready for the upgrades and tune I changed the oil, cleaned the throttle body, and changed out the fuel filter. The fuel filter was a little bit of a pain, the local auto parts store sold me some plastic discs to release the filter, after trashing those and using a flat head screwdriver I think I am good to go. I was surprised how filthy the throttle body was, didnt ever think to look at it before. Oh I also started running 93 in it and added some Seafoam to cleam things out. Am I missing anything?

Thanks

I just used it as a fuel additive. I think using that and cleaning the throttle body have help a lot. It used to have a rough idle that would bounce around 500 rpm, it now smooth and stays at 750.
