First time in the 1/4
Thought I would share, I'm pretty happy with myself. I started off really easy on her and I cut a 13.9 with a 2.5 60 foot @ 103, and my last run I ran a 13.1 flat with a 1.8 60 @ 106.4 on street tires
I'm pretty psyched I know i'm breaking into the 12's no problems next weekend. Until I got my 60' dialed in I was actually hitting 108-9 for a few runs, but with a bad 1/4 time. Time for some suspension and driver mods
It's one of those "11 second car with a 14 second driver" situations, i'll get there and i'm recording all my data for my tuner also, so I can get her running perfect!

nice runs, the track is definately addicting..that being said, take your time, and work your way into it, I've seen a few people get in waaay over their head, and do some damage
Your ET will tell you how well you're hooking and shifting...... your MPH will tell you your overall power output (to some degree) and shouldn't change too much from run to run, although your ET can be all over the place. Will be interesting to see what your top MPH is once you've gone a couple of times.
That's what I mean....... last year when I had crappy BFG drag radials, I was running 12.4s to 12.6s at 118mph. Get that, 118 mph...... almost every run was 118, but my ETs were horrible because I was not hooking at launch (actually not in the first three gears).
This year, changed to M&H 325s and now can drop the clutch at 4500rpm at launch, which will pull the driver's tire off the track. 60s are now in the 1.7 to 1.8 range (still need lots of practice) but ETs are 11.7s and 11.8s, all at 119. I think I have a dozen consecutive slips all at 119 mph, I couldn't hit 120 if my life depended on it LOL.
This is when I was at 450/450, not the 501/455.

Well i'm still short of that, but I also can't lunch with these street tires over 2400 with spinning for forever or below it without bogging, and i'm still trying to find that perfect shift before 7200
