First Oil Change Today

I changed the oil today at 1032 miles, and saw this on the oil pan. Anyone else have this? My build date was 12/15 - 12/16.

So what kind of oil did you use?
That was a nice touch. Do you think the assembly line workers did that out of love or out of boredom? It would be nice to think they did it out of pride in opening a new chapter in the Mustang's history!

I changed it at 1K since it's a new engine, and I've done it on our past 3 new vehicles. I used Castrol GTX 5w-20, and will switch to Mobil1 at the 3K mark.
LOL! That is great!
I would document this as much as possible. Save the pics, print this thread, and clean that area at every oil change. That is the kind of fun production minutia that is going to be gold years down the road. For decades now, the classic Mustang crowd has been sweating over correct paint daubs and other production line details for their restorations. This one however, is one for the books.
