Ordered on 10/3 and was unable to get a build date until I kept heckling the sales manager. So then he calls back a few days later and my baby will be home a few days after Xmas.

With IUP/MyColor options as a hold up I didn't expect it in 6-8 weeks like I was originally quoted, but sure glad it's built now with all the order changes. Thanks to all the help on this board, Ford really should be praising all of you for a great community that surely has helped those looking for info on Mustangs. And I am doubly glad I didn't break down for the Mustang on the lot without IUP!

I've only seen 2 posts on heated seats, and I am thinking about getting them installed before I even bring her home. Dealership quoted about $400 - sounds a bit pricey but I don't know. Anyone else get heated seats installed? What do the controls look like?

Yes, I like the heated seats. I already had the money, so it was not to bad for me. I am miserable in the cold, so it was a no brainer for me. I tried to get the heaters installed before I drove it home the first time, but the delivery of the heaters came in about the same time as the car. But the installer was booked for a few days.

Glad you waited. It is much better to wait for something you want, instead of settling.
