Fellow TMS-er needs your prayers, folks

I can't make it but as a fellow gator I'll be wearing orange and blue tomorrow. In this time of grieving I commend the family for donating the gift of life with Kyle's organs. I have a son who at age twelve was diagnosed with a degenerative liver disease and was told that within 15 to 20 years would need a liver transplant. That was ten years ago and the clock is still ticking.
All of our prayers go out to the families of Kyle and Jeremy.

A life full of passion, laughter, thoughtfulness
and love. A life that honored and glorified our
loving God above. Always greeting loved ones
with a warm and caring smile. Always willing to step
up and go the extra mile. Loving son, brother,
grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend,
A tender heart that was honest and loyal
until the end. God chose to call him home early
and from us he had to depart. But his memory and
legacy will live on forever in our hearts.
Carry his memory with you wherever you
may go. Hold him in your heart as you change
and grow. Listen closely at Gator games
and you hear, His determined voice
amidst the crowds' noisy cheers.
"Go Gators! Come on Gators...get up and go!"

I just wanted to share this with ya'all to honor my friend Kyle..
My son Josh and I made the 3 hour trip south to attend Kyle's Visitation and Memorial services Thursday and Friday morning and wanted to share it with you all, Kyle's extended Mustang family.
Kyle was my friend, and as a parent myself, it was a very emotionally draining and heartfelt experience for me. As you can imagine, loosing a dear friend, son, or brother is a gut wrenching ordeal. And no parent or sibling should ever have to go through what Kyle's Mom , Dad (Lisa and Gary) and sister (Kaitlin) have gone though these past 2 weeks. But, during the visitation Thursday, just about everyone that came down to the front of the church to meet with Kyle's family to offer their condolences, broken down, myself included. but it was Kyle's family that brought us comfort and support instead of the other way around.
There must'a been 300, 400, or more people show up to honor Kyle's life during the last 2 days. Many got up and shared their experiences and stories about Kyle, some were of course sad and there wasn't a dry eye in the church and some very funny and of course brought out laughter.
Kyle had many passions in his life besides his Mustang, there was his family, golf, basketball, and of course his Gator's. Gator's, the hated rival of any Florida State Seminole fan.. Of which my son and I are die-hard FSU supports, fans, and season ticket holders, one of the things Kyle and I often poked at each other over the years, but it was all in good fun. But it was Kyle's family wish that everyone wear their Gator colors to the services to honor Kyle. Well, I got'a tell ya, up until Wednesday evening, my son and I never owned a single thing that was in Gator Orange and Blue. But, to honor my friend, my son and I wore Gator Orange and Blue.
The whole 2 day experience is something I will never forget. The music playing (a little Lynard Skynard even) and the slide show on 2 big church wall screens of Kyle life in pictures and his passions, his family, friends, Mustangs, golf, the lord. and his love of life.. what a great guy Kyle was. All of us who talked to Kyle, exchanged posts, and knew him personally, are much better persons because of him.
And here's is Kyle's Memorial Card, I wanted to share that too.
God Bless you buddy, I'm really going to miss you.

I'm saddend by the news. I had not been on for a couple of days and was hoping Kyle would pull though. My prayers and support go out to his family. I may never have met him but from the pictures and stories everyone is sharing I think it's a safe bet we would have been great friends.
R.I.P Kyle may you watch over us all and keep us safe.

I haven't been on the forum lately and only tonight read this thread.
Sounds like we lost a great one in this fine young man.
Our hearts and prayers go out to Kyle's friends and family, and the other families. May the Lord comfort them in these most difficult days, and beyond.
