Hi,
Just wondering because my back and side windows all have some kind of tempered glass tint on them and I want to know how much protection it is. If anyone has some detail I'd appreciate it. A link to a website that explains it would work too. Whatever anyone can provide in terms of information.

I keep thinking about tinting the windows but I use the rear defrost and if what my car has is enough I'll stick with that.

 

Factory glass is tinted about 3-5% and probably protects agains most UVA rays, but not UVB rays. I got a tint and also use the rear defrost. Tint does not affect the rear defrost. The only issue you may have is that your rear defrost may become damaged when REMOVING the tint.

 

dpending on your location, tinting is the best. I really did not want to tint my car but then i finally sucked it up and got 20% all around and it feels alot better

 

It's a privacy tint but not a thermal tint, you need to go shopping.
