Dropped my car with the Eibach Pro Kit this weekend. Figure Id get it aligned again. Well I just came back from a tire shop here, I was there for an hour and 45 min. and when the guy came back in he said something about how the machine cant "read the car"?...He wants me to go back to the dealer and get the stock alignments specs?..I asked if he could just call them up and get it but he said they would only give it to customers. Well after all that I just left kinda mad. Anyone else run into this problem about the place needing the factory specs? I dont remember anyone mentioning it....

Oh and to make things worse they didnt even lay down one of those white papers on the floormats and f*$%ed up my red carpet!!!! :notnice:

They probably had the same problem many people have had after lowering their car.

Did you get camber plates?

Did you get a panhard bar?

If not then I suggest you go to the "Mods" section and do a search on lowering or Eibach. Or you could PM Adrenalin... he's got the Eibach kit and knows all about this.

Oh yeah Ive read numerous thread concerning this..I basically started the thread because A: Ive never heard of a tire shop needing the factory specs and
B: I was just venting
Anyway, Ive heard of some people being able to realign without the CC plates or panhard rod, then some havent.. Im aware of Adrenalin's situation.
