Mine was born right on schedule, BUT.... delivered a month and 2 days late.

My car is 21 days past ETA and counting. I wouldn't mind so much if someone could give me a realistic clue of when to expect it. I'm pretty tired of going to the dealership and having them tell me they don't know anything about where my car is and of calling customer service and having them tell me to call the dealer. :bang:

I ordered at the beginning of July and when I finally received a build date, everything happened exactly as my salesman said. The hardest part was waiting two and a half months for any word as to when it was going to be built.

I thought about buying a GT at sticker that I found on an area dealer's lot. But it's the wrong color and it doesn't have IUP. I'm just so sick of waiting and I'm tired of driving dealer-provided Focus I have had since I sold my old GT last week that I can't stand it.

However, it took 2 days to deliver it due to a stress crack in the windshield; and it was delivered covered wtih rail dust. That will be removed this week, compliments of Ford and the warranty.
But it was so worth the wait.
What wait? Merely a fading memory already....

I would take that deal. I am a little concerned, however, because the dealer said there is no ramp code on the DORA, which leads me to believe the car may very well still be sitting at the factory. The sales manager said there are more than 300 cars caught in a hold for "quality control." But he has received no notice of that on my car. Ford still says "ETA 02-05"

I noticed that you actually ordered your car the day after me and it was built the same week. I wonder how yours escaped quality control (possibly with a broken windshield) while I am in purgatory. :bang:

John, I was curious if you think your car has been delayed at all because you ordered it with specific options, (i.e. the spoiler delete). I am unsure how orders are pulled and prioritized, so I'm wondering if I should consider letting them add the spoiler to my car just to expedite it's production. I don't necessarily want the spoiler, but I could live with it if it meant getting my car sooner. What are your thoughts?

I started this thread because I'm curious to when mine will actually arrive, I'm trying to plan an Easter trip and my ETA is 3/21. Based on the numbers above, I only have a little more confidence that it will arrive on time, my fingers are crossed.
Good choice on the spoiler delete, I've grown to like it. My current prefrences are:
1-Ducktail, 2-Spoiler Delete, 3-Spoiler. CDC ducktail to be released Mar 21, my ETA... could it be a sign?
