I have a question for all thos lucky people who have already received their cars or Dlr ETA dates.
I called up Ford customer service yesterday and this friendly lady told me that my car was produced but she does not have the Dlr ETA information on her system yet.
I called my dealer today and he told me that the car will come in third week of december, but his system does NOT show the status of produced yet. He also was talking about spoiler shortages and also manual transmission shortages.

I am totally confused as to whats going on with my car. I really think it is produced as it had a build week of 11/29 and had been pushed back one week already.

All in all its been good two days, got news on my car and got a decent insurance quote

Oh cool, I hope you can help me out as well Doug. I have a few questions, my DORA is very hard to read, so I was wondering what the BodyType #, Order #, and Dealer Code look like. Or where they can be found on the DORA. Thanks.

Doug was able to tell me that my car is produced and will be here by 12/12.
I am assuming that Doug works for Ford Mo Co as only employee would have access to this info.
I do not doubt the information as I have no reason to doubt any member on these forums.

All this information is in the first two lines of your DORA, immediately after the
** Dealer Submitted** line is.
There should be a 6 digit number before your Dealership name
Body Code should be on the next line, T82 for GT and T80 for V6
Order No is next to the body code on the same line

Hope this helps!

That's a good one. I was thinking "As the Ponies Arrive" or "The Way The Pony Rides" Either way I think we are all in need of a good shrink. And some of us need a nice new padded cell to break in.
