The engine rev won't come down

Lately my car seems to have developed a strange behavior.

Not too long after installing my CAI and tune I noticed that on the higway if I let the throttle go my car would not slow down ! It was also the same thing if I was slightly going downhill the wouldn't slow down it would accelerate.

Yesterday I noticed that if i'm cruising at a certain rev (les say 2000 rpm) and I put my car in neutral, without touching the clutch (by slighly accelerating and pulling the shifter in neutral) the car rev will remain at 2000 rpm for ever, even if I'm stopped, it's only when I press the clutch that it will come down.

So after seing that I went back on the highway were there is a long downhill slope and tried this, if I let the throttle go the car won't slow down but if I press just very slightly on the clutch (not too much otherwise it fall free) the car start to slowdown.

Anyone have had this issue or any idea what it could be ? I have tried re-flashing the tunes and tried different one, but no change !

Thanks

Wow, that's really odd. By the way, please don't be offended by this suggestion, but do you have an aftermarket floor mat? Is it hooked onto the little hook behind your left foot, near the seat? I put OEM rubber mats on top of the OEM cloth mats temporarily.. and several times the mat would slide forward and rest a corner on the accellerator and my car would accellerate w/o me trying (I pushed the clutch in to avoid collision and was bouncing off the rev-limiter for a while before I realized what happened... other drivers must have thought I was just being a *******..)

I heard of that before and it's the first thing I check, but it's not...

Thanks for the suggestion.

I will try today going back the stock (no CAI and Tune) to see if it's related..

I always thought the tune would get rid of that problem. Mine takes a bit untill it idles all the way down. Usally doesn't take long.

That is very strange. Might try reloading the tune and see if that helps.

Ok, I have now narrow it down to the tune.... The B A M A tunes seems to be the issue, I went back to my original Demolet and it doesn't do it. If I put either my 91 performance or 91 torque tune from B A M A the problem comes back.

Any one with B A M A tunes in here having problem like this ?

My car was dyno tuned by Doug and my car does that to,but Doug says he can fix it.give Doug a call on this. I won't have my car for about five weeks ,so I'm not worried about getting mine fixed just yet,but I'll be getting in touch with Doug , before I go to pick up my car. lol
