I have an 08 4.0 Mustang. It has the Shaker 500 stereo. Last week check charging system light came on. Had alternator checked and it was bad. Replaced alternator. A day later check charging system light returned and while driving heard loud pop sound from speakers then clock reset to 12:00 and CD changer started freaking out. After a few minutes everything went back to normal and check charging system light went away. Today same thing happened with stereo and light. Had battery checked and was told battery good. Had new alternator checked and was told it was good. Any ideas?

 

Check for wet floor on passenger side... Lots of smart junction box issues from getting wet...

Thinking more likely theres a wire loose on the new alternator or something associated with the repair
