Yeah, it's only $35. But this is your perfect record we're talking about here. How about you send in a copy of the emissions legal statement from SLP with your fix it ticket and tell them to pound sand? If that works, I want full credit for you remaining undefeated.
Sure it's emissions legal but that doesn't mean that they pass inspection if there is a baffle requirement. Mufflers in fact have zero impact on emissions, doesn't change the smell. That makes SLP's claim somewhat misleading

Their claim is 100% correct: They ARE emisions legal in 50 states! Granted, that is only because the mufflers have NOTHING to do with emisions, but they ARE 100% emisions legal in all 50 states!

After all the bullets you've dodged, $35 bucks is peanuts... usually people with a lucky streak end up with their car impounded

Well it just seems crazy that SLP can sell mufflers with that design as a legal part (not listed as Off Road Only) and you can get a ticket because there are no baffles in it? Ok, so emissions has nothing to do with it, but surely since he ticketed you for the DESIGN of the mufflers, you would think you would have a leg to stand on. After all, you didn't modify the mufflers, that's how they are sold.

At any rate, for $35 probably not a big deal. I know some people that have gotten fix it tickets for things on their cars and they did nothing about it. Not saying who, just that they drive black Mustangs and I know them quite well.

The trooper wasn't chugging maple syrup, was he? Maybe he was trying to work in "car guy" as many times as he could instead of "meow".

i know 19 is alot in 1 car but i have the witnesses...there were times when i was pulled over twice in 1 day

the reason why: NEW JERSEY AND NO FRONT LICENSE PLATE hahaha
Hahahaha, I got one of those years ago when I used to drive a 73 Camaro with SS stripes. The license was on the dash but that wasnt good enough. I probably got pulled over every day in that car ranging from Drinking soda to doing 110mph and getting a noisy muffler ticket.
