Doing your own dealer prep

Iā€™m noticing many are receiving their new '06 and ā€˜07 models. I was able to do my own dealer prep, and perhaps others will as well. I just want to be sure I did the right things.

I removed the plastic sheeting that protected the outer body panels, I removed the plastic covers from the seats, and I removed about a 1/4ā€ of rubber from the rear tires.

Did I do that right?

You obviously didn't read the book on how to break in your car.
