Here you go. Just the standard hood pin kit and I used the hole that the hood stops are in.

Not sure of the brand, they were on when I bought the hood.

The hole for the pins is already there, just need to make it a little bigger. very easy install. No cutting up of the radiator cover.

I have the Ford Racing pins, and the pin rings are ****ing rusting after only two months. And my car is garage kept. I'd like to get the Shelby pins, but the pins look exactly the same.

Could you post a couple photos of how and where those are mounted to the radiator support? I have the twist lock pins for a new hood I am awaiting but have not quite figured out about mounting the pins.

thanks!

James , here's a couple of pictures. I got a kit which included brackets that my body shop didn't use , they made the black part instead ...

I've always like the twist-locks. Those look excellent! No pins to "accidently" come undone and start flopping around and no wire.
I see the shop installed them. Wondering how hard it is DIY.
Have seen a pic of some captive pin locks, no wire and the pin can't walk off. Don't know where they come from tho.

Tom , yes I had them installed by my body shop , I wouldn't have known where to begin myself. The pins were for a 71 Mach 1 and came with radiator brackets for the plates to mount on. Since they really didn't fit my car , the shop just made the black part and attached the plates to them instead. I imagine the hard part was getting the brackets located so the pins would go into the plates smoothly. The place on the hood where the pins sit is angled towards the side and front , so there are actually two angles involved. It was the first set they had done , so it was trial and error and took quite sometime ...
