Bullitt or GT/CS Soft Top

Well I'm looking for some suggustions I'm in the process of purchasing a Mustang for a toy car and drove the new Bullitt today (#0541) and loved the car but my wife and I are trying to decide between this car or a 2008 GT/CS soft top. I guess the biggest decission is weather to purchase a coupe or soft top.

Please Help!!!!

the Bullitt is what made me finally decide to buy a Mustang.

Convertibles are my favourite though, so if the Bullitt doesn't grab you, get the 'vert.

Where was #0541?

Only you can answer as to whether you'll get lots of time with the top down.
I don't think you can go wrong with whatever you choose- you'll have a blast in either one.

The Bullitt will certainly hold it's value more, so if you think you'll only be keeping it a few years, that would be the way to go. If you're gonna keep it long term, the vert may be a better choice for those nice days to cruise. You can always upgrade the suspension and engine to match or beat the Bullitt.

Either way will be a great choice.

Basically comes down to whether you're more interested in understated performance (Bullitt) or flashier style (GT/CS). No wrong choices here, really, both great cars, just need to best match to your needs and desires.

As for coupe vs. soft top: coupes will be lighter, stiffer and perhaps more durable/less trouble prone long term; convertibles are just great on those warm, sunny days when Nth degree speed is not foremost. Some of it might depend on where you live -- snow belt or sun belt.

Well we are still trying to decide now between a vista blue GT convertable with basicly all the options (not a CS) or going with the bullitt. I live in Michigan so the car will only be driven in warm days and never see a day of snow or rain. I have a boat that my family spends all there time on in the summer. So i really need to figure out what way to go I'm really leaning towards the Bullitt and I think my wife really wants the soft top.

Well #541 is still available at Suburban Ford of Waterford, MI because we decided to purchase a 08 vista blu vert loaded with everything minus GT apperance package and I had a Roush supercharger installed. If anyone is interested in the bullit you can use plans on the car and they aren't asking for anything over sticker talk to Don Marotta or Laurie.

I would strongly suggest you upgrade the brakes! Trying to stop a 400+hp car with the GT's brakes is going to scare the crap out of you!!!
