decipher ford vehicle tracking language?
I called the vehicle tracking phone number and I'm not familiar with the terminology.. and since I was pretending to be my dealer, I didn't want to ask dumb questions. Maybe you guys can help?
What does it mean to be "Unscheduled S.I."?
What does it mean when the operator says it 'should be "pulled" today?'
(Specifically, the op said something like "It's showing up as unscheduled s.i., which means... it should be pulled today.") Car does not have a VIN yet and was ordered 6/20, if that helps.

I forget what the S.I. stands for, but it basically means the computer has, like the operator said, marked your car to be "pulled".
What this means is it will be pulled from your dealer's Order Bank (the Order Bank is all the orders he has in the system that are waiting to be scheduled to be built). Once an order is pulled, (which happens every Thursday night) the car is assigned a VIN. It usually has the VIN on Friday morning and by Monday morning it has a Build Week. Note: This is simply the WEEK the car is scheduled to be built, not the day.
If the operator sees this information, your order probably got pulled Thursday night and there is probably a VIN assigned to your car by now. A lot of times their information is a few days behind.
