Before I drove off from the dealer when picked up my car Tuesday 05/10 I went over it with a fine tooth comb .......... so I thought. When I got home that night I noticed that the antenna was BENT at the top and at the base where it screws into the antenna bezel, the notches and the paint on the base of the antenna were stripped , like someone had really over tourqued a wrench when they put on the antenna, and the black base/bezel had been gouged by the wrench.
I took the car back to the dealer the next day 05/11 and they agreed to replace/repair it under warranty. The said they would have to order the base which would take a couple of days, and they would call me to bring it in.

Question is, its been a week and a half, shouldn't this have been done by now?

No....it's a new car....new parts will take a while to make it to market. Just keep calling and politely checking on the status. If possible check with the service department on the status of the part order.

and ten days for the TSB parts being done today.

Thanks, I should also remember that at Ford Quality is Job #1, this must also include dealer prep :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang:

I would call about once a week. I was told my replacement parts were ordered and found out three weeks later they had not been because they had not gotten the approval number yet. Six weeks after I got my car I got my interior replacement parts.

Funny thing is the dealer customer service rep called last night to see if I was happy/satisfied with my buying expereince at this dealer. I told her of the problem with the antenna and how its been over a week, no part, no contact from service department. She says ..................... Oh can I call you back in a few weeks and ask if your satisfied then, I laughed and said what ever.

When I took delivery I had a huge scratch in the steering wheel. I brought it back the next day and they said 'We've seen that same scratch on a number of GTs' and said they would order me a new wheel. It's been a month - I called two days ago to check on the order and my guess is it was never ordered. The person was going to check on it and call me back - ya right! I just left a message for my sales guy telling him I was holding the customer sat survey till I see how this wheel replacement works out.
