DO NOT waste your money on Diamond Gloss or undercoating!

There is no such thing as a sealer that will last 5 years it is a scam so separate you from your money and let the dealer make some more profit. You can put a polymer sealent line Meguires NXT yourself for about $5 an application.

Ford does NOT recommend undercoating. Undercoating will cause harm to your car. Eventually the undercoating cracks and separates from the bottom of the car. It then traps water between the undercoating and your floorpan, causing rust and rot, especially if it is salt water from driving in the winter.

 

Funny little story. My family thinks I am whacked.
I was out in the garage the other day with my '66 pony, letting her know that I was bringing home her grandson to live with us. She took the news very well and is very excited. Anyway, when I was dusting her off I glazed into the deep shine of her red hood and lo and behold I could read the waatage of the light bulb thats on the garage ceiling. Thats the kind of shine I like. My opinion. Do it yourself.

 

dealer paint sealant is basically the same thing. Its a royal pain in the ding-ding to put on but the dealer doing it is WAY too expensive.

 

undercoating is pointless too , dont bother.
